New minor release is out on Github.

The changes that you'll notice are better motion detection code for devices
that only have a legacy motion sensor, or have buggy significant motion
sensors.

That's still a wide range of devices ranging from Nexus S and Moto G with
only an accelerometer up to the Galaxy S5 with a buggy significant motion
sensor. Odds are - this will help you save battery and the app won't go to
sleep forever.

A release to F-Droid should also go out tonight once I sort out a build
issue there.

Changes since 1.7.0:

   - Upgraded to geolocate and geosubmit APIs in ichnaea
   - Added rolling average calculation to standard accelerometer based
   motion detection
   - Bug fixes for ASU vs signal strength collection
   - Redesigned metrics for better performance.
   - Lower memory requirements when creating upload bundles. This should
help with older devices like the Nexus S.
   - Upload service is no longer marked as 'sticky'
   - Synchronization fix for DynamicProxies. This caused a variety of
   application crashes and misbehavior.
   - Turkish localisation
   - Reworked simulation code to prevent crashes in libstumbler
