The impact is negligible. Firefox listens passively for geolocation from other apps, currently GPS-only geolocation. So there is zero power cost from that. Upon receiving geolocation, a Wi-Fi and Cell scan is performed. The power cost for using these is greatest when going from an unused state to an active state.
