We don't actually store the nickname with any of the observation data. The only thing we store associated to the nicknames are score values, specifically how many observations a user uploaded in a given day (the points on the leaderboard), how many new cell and wifi networks did that user discover during that day (shown on the weekly leaderboard). Those three daily score values is all we have per user. And this is quite intentional to avoid us being able to track the movements of our users.
