magnolia.utf8.enabled not working in DMS

If magnolia.utf8.enabled is set to true, the DMS allows unicode characters in
node names.
Once you create a node with say öäü, the node cannot be edited anymore.
Neighter delete, move, rename or dialog save is working anymore. This is true
for folders and actual DMS items.
