Juergen,
The default MgnlUserManager which comes with the magnolia-core uses Base64 to encode the specified password.
Are you sure you'll looking at the 4.5 sources when you see this ?
Otherwise, it looks like it should work (although your overriding the encodePassword is superfluous, since it does exactly what the super class does) - are you able to plug a debugger and trace the login request to see where it actually fails ? Is it really when checking the password ? (try to put a break point in info.magnolia.jaas.sp.jcr.JCRAuthenticationModule#matchPassword for example) Cheers, -greg -- Context is everything: http://forum.magnolia-cms.com/forum/thread.html?threadId=d10c8af8-5c33-4f05-9976-5cdeeb994718 ---------------------------------------------------------------- For list details, see: http://www.magnolia-cms.com/community/mailing-lists.html Alternatively, use our forums: http://forum.magnolia-cms.com/ To unsubscribe, E-mail to: <dev-list-unsubscr...@magnolia-cms.com> ----------------------------------------------------------------
