Is Magnolia CMS Community Edition going to be on Github some day?

I understand Magnolia International wants the source code to be on its own
server for the Enterprise Edition. But regarding the Community Edition, having
the source code on Github seems sensible.

A few pros coming to my mind:
1. Right now, if I have a bug fix to submit I have to go through the process of
creating a JIRA ticket, and then attach my bug fix if I have any. In github,
for simple fixes I could simply edit the code in my browser & then submit this
fix (Pull Request). For more complex fixes, I could checkout the code, add my
fix & submit the fix (Pull Request).
This would be much nicer for contributors & much less work for you guys at
Magnolia. Encourage Magnolia Devs to submit issues (& bug fixes) has been
mentioned many times, this definitely would simplify this process.

2. Many many open source projects are already on Github, so Magnolia could
benefit from this community of open source contributors & get more exposure.

3. All my contributions would appear on my Github profile (along with
contributions to other projects on Github), which is nice, right now I had to
go to my JIRA account & so on. This is definitely an incentive for people to
contribute.

4. Github is nice to use! Would perfectly fit in the overall "pretty myself up"
that Magnolia is doing. You get pretty code display (& edit), pretty charts &
statistics.
see an example for Spring :
https://github.com/spring-projects/spring-framework/pulse/monthly
https://github.com/spring-projects/spring-framework/graphs/contributors
https://github.com/spring-projects/spring-framework/graphs/commit-activity
https://github.com/spring-projects/spring-framework/pulls
and so on...

What do you guys think? I am definitely not aware of all the reasons why this
is not happening & probably did not consider some cases that could put off
Magnolia.
