Description:

It is not possible
In MGNLUI-3249 we enforced IE compatibility mode
to
edit pages in Magnolia using IE10 and IE11
IE9
.
--There was a bug fix in Magnolia 5
Vaadin 7
.
2
1 default was IE10 compatibility,
but
in 5.3.5 it does
that was
not
work
enough for us it seems
.
-- The problem is
There were major issues either in launching apps
,
that the green bars do not occur and the action bar is empty
or using page-editor
.
As pointed out
Now
in
the comments
5.4
,
we upgraded to
Vaadin 7.
1 does not
3.4 so far, where GWT now has proper
support
for
IE11
very well, and switching to IE9 compatibility
in Edge
mode
seems to fix this issue
. We should
override Vaadin's default
simply make sure this runs smoothly — and subsequently remove the IE9-mode fix in our
{{
X-UA-Compatibility
BootstrapListener
}}
tag accordingly,
in
the
{{
BootstrapHandler
AdmincentralVaadinServlet
}}.
Also mind that this is not relevant for 5
In particular, we currently encounter an issue in Edge mode in the initial loading of the webapp: a JSON parsing error occurring in {{vaadinBootstrap
.
4
js}}
.
