file control in dialog not saving

1 ) I created a dialog for a paragraph that has a text control (named title)
and a file control (named document) on it.
2) I bring up the dialog, enter text and select a file and press Save
Text saves just fine but file won't save. Tried restarting Magnolia but no
change and no errors shown.
