[magnolia-dev] Improving Portal Support for Magnolia

Hi,
 
I am interested in improving native JSR 168 support for Magnolia;  Right now 
there is a bridge between the portal container and Magnolia.  
 
Are there plans to allow a JSR-168 portal container to be the primary content 
delivery mechanism via a native driver? Is there a module / package etc to look 
at in order to research the feasibility of such an approach?
