Hi Group,
Simple question... Once again, sorry to be referring to CQ, but it is
the only point-of-reference I have to work with...
Let's say I have a simple 'give us your e-mail address page for future
updates'. So, it has a form with one text field (for e-mail address)
and a 'go' button for submitting the form... What is the preferred
Magnolia way of handling this? Would I:
- Call a servlet and write some jdbc logic to stick the value in a MySQL
(or other) database? (if so, how do I just write a page redirect
template for returning back from the servlet?)
or
- Create a template (not accessible to the general public) with which I
add custom atoms/properties to? Then, when someone signs up, I create a
new template and populate the atom/property?
or
- Create a template and a custom paragraph/component - then when someone
signs up, I add a new paragraph/component to the template for each new
person?
Thanks,
--
