Finally:

http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MAVENUPLOAD-2194

We'll currently have to manually copy the artifacts we want synchronized. Most important ones are the parent poms where we define our own repositories. Once our repos are cleaned, we'll get rid of this manual procedure and we'll probably just synch everything :)

Cheers,

That's been on my mind for a while - but I always postponed it until I had some time to install a maven proxy, which we want locally, and that hasn't happened yet. (because I assume url's to the repo will probably change again

well, this should be irrelevant for the sync... we just need a stable
ssh access, the http url is not used at all so unless the server name
is going to change it should not be a problem at all. It also takes a
minute to request a change in the sync configuration so I would still
propose to do that asap.

(Also, we need to clean up some of that repo, as it seems every now and then
some irrelevant release pops in there...)

yes, I just saw a couple of strange named artifacts there... we only
need to cleanup the magnolia.info package, every else will be
ignored. Metadata and versions are ok, so it should be a matter or
removing artifacts totally unwanted, I assume this should be easy.

Hi,
what about setting up a repo sync in order to make magnolia releases
available directly in the central maven repo?

The repository at http://repo.magnolia.info/m2/ looks clean enough (no
snapshots) in order to request a sync for the info.magnolia package.
I think several users could be happy to be able to use magnolia and
its modules in maven without having to add a custom repository, and
setting up the sync is pretty straightforward...

The info on how to do that is at
http://maven.apache.org/guides/mini/guide-central-repository-upload.html
and basically only requires to setup an ssh account with read
permissions on the repo and configure it with the maven public ssh
key.

WDYT?
