Ok maybe i was not very clear on the description, i will try to describe it a
bit more in detail:
1) We are writing an action that calls the Activate method with a 3rd party
user authentication. We are then authenticated as that user (not the superuser)
and try to edit the content from the author instance. At this time we can see
that the changes are made to the author instance, but when we invoke the action
to publish/activate the page to the public instance the changes never occur.
Despite of the log message saying Activation succeeded the changes does not
happen.
To describe the above question a bit more:
2) But when we login to the admin interface of the author instance, and right
click the node to activate it, despite of us being logged in as another user
than "superuser" the activation takes place but the log says was activated by
"superuser".
We are using the workflow of magnolia, but skipping the mail activate content
step. We are trying to use the workflow without a user going in their mailbox
to allow the activation. Would the workflow engine still try to activate using
the superuser using our authentication? If so, is there a way to configure
another user to do this?
