Please - dont spend any time on this after all. I don't believe it. I just dont believe it. This thing is haunted. After spending two days trying to find the cause of the problem - suddenly it works.!!!! I strongly suspect the conf file - but I'm not sure. after all this. sorry for the bloated email, with all sorts of plaintive cries for help embedded. I'm still none the wiser !! but 2.22 now seems to be working. I think. I hope. Please accept my apologies if you have actually spent any time on this. I'm hoping it keeps working... A very frustrated user. :-( robert
