The call verify_install.cgi does to the "Client.pm" has not changed really
since day one - same commands to the API.  How the "Client.pm" (either the
older version, or XML_ version) talks to the server IS different :)

If you're using the new client, you really should be using XML_Client.pm -
there are commands in XML_Client.pm that are not in Client.pm (which, I
believe, hasn't changed since August 11th 2000) :)
