FreeBSD and MD5 errors

Anyone encuntered this error when installing the client code and all its
encryption modules on FreeBSD 4.2 Stable

Can't locate object method "hash" via package "MD5" at
/usr/home/srs/LotusNIC/lib/CBC.pm line 31,
