I know nothing about Perl but am trying to use the Perl source anyway.
Am running on a Cobalt Raq3 with perl 5.00503 installed. Everything
else which needs to be there is there as well, and the
verify_install.cgi executes correctly. I was able to circumvent the
first few problems I came across, however am now stuck. When I try to
run reg_system.cgi, I get the following error:
Invalid type in unpack: 'U' at
/home/sites/opensrs.crt.net/web/lib/NAMEPREP.pm line 76.
>From what I can tell, type 'U' is a relatively new addition. But the
version of perl that I am running is later than the version which the
openSRS documentation says I need, so I am less inclined to believe that
that is my problem.
Any ideas?
