Hi, Previously I've ranted about the lack of ability to easily extract domain expiry dates from whois servers. I have now been able to remedy this situation and we're pleased to present domexpire.pl a cgi script that returns a WDDX packet (i.e. xml) which contains 1/ the domain's name 2/ the domain's registry 3/ the domains day, month and year of registration, as far as is possible. It returns information for the following registries/ars: OpenSRS NetworkSolutions Register.com CoreNIC BulkRegister.com INWW NamesDirect Dotster DomainPeople ENom TotalRegistrations EasySpace It also attempts to guess Nominet domain expiry dates. It's a handy little tool for database cleaning etc. Feel free to try it out on my server: http://www.gradwell.com/domexpire/domexpire.pl?domain=gradwell.com or download it for easy installation on yours: http://www.gradwell.com/domexpire/domexpire.gz Contributions of code for other registries welcome!
