Hello,

To everyone which monitors this OpenSRS development mailing list I would like to comend Eric Longman who has been instrumental in providing Win2K based resellers with the required modules for the proper installation of the new OpenSRS code base.

PPM>set repository ATLCON http://www.atlcon.net/downloads/opensrs/v2.41
PPM>install Crypt-HCE_SHA
PPM>install Crypt-CBC
PPM>install Digest-SHA1
PPM>install Data-Dumper
PPM>install Date-Pcalc
PPM>exit

I can not stress enough my gratitude for Eric's digilence and complete comitment to the "Open" portion of OpenSRS.  Not only has he been responsible for providing the initial and un"official" Win2k and NT based installation guide located at http://www.atlcon.net/opensrs/nt-howto.htm but he has always been available to me to answer questions and presumably and undoubteldly to anyone else which has asked.

With out his help and dedication to the OpenSRS format of open development and collaboration I personally would not have gotten past the installation of ActiveState back in the day and I am sure I am not alone.

I only hope that Tucows and OpenSRS have recognized or will in the immediate future regocnize Eric as one of their most valued developers and representatives for all who wish to become involved with OpenSRS which operate an NT or Win2k system.  Without Eric's help Tucows would not have as many resellers and do as much business through all of its resellers which have implemented the OpenSRS system on a Win2k or NT platform.

Many thanks,
Benjamin Saenz
