I had a similar error when using Perl 5.6.0 but it went away when I
upgraded to Perl 5.6.1... I don't know that this is what you are
experiencing but, well, perhaps it helps. Anyone else? More below...

I understand the CVS schtuff will be up this week via SF as well. It
is maintained with CVS currently, it just hasn't been dialed in via
SF yet.

Righto, agreed.

As you stated, making patches and minor revisions available is the
way to use SF, in addition to their message board which is useful
too. Again, this week there should be better use of SF and some
bug fixes/enhancements as well.
