Forwarding

Hi All...       I have gotten domain masking and domain parking running well on my server... However, I am stumped on probably the easiest of all, domain forwarding. Is their a easier was to accomplish this without using the re-direct function in the config file??  I am thinking about having a file, or a data-base that a script looks at the file, and simply gets the domain name, and where it should go and just simply send it there without making changes to the server config file using the re-direct command. One reason is, I would rather not have 500 sites listed in the config file with re-directs, and also I wish to not have the server re-started every time I add a re-direct to the config file so the changes will take affect...   Thanks all...
