The locking guide states that you can only lock/unlock domains within your reseller account. You can however query the lock status of any domain within TUCOWS registrar, but you cannot query domains at other registrars. For example: A locked domain within my reseller account returns the following: # ./check_lock.pl daze.net daze.net [can modify] [domain supports] [locked] An unlocked domain within a different resellers account returns the following: # ./check_lock.pl tucows.com tucows.com [can't modify] [domain supports] [unlocked] A domain at a different registrar returns: # ./check_lock.pl netsol.com netsol.com Domain not found
