What do we do about other registrars' and their difficult-and-arcane counter-ICANN-rules transfer confirmations?
The transfer confirmation from NSI requires copying and pasting the right subject line into your reply. The confirmation from Register.com is three pages long, and reads just like spam. Then you have to go through four pages to successfully confirm the transfer. Sure, the OpenSRS confirmation could be easier, but it's the next step that is incredibly difficult, and not at all user-friendly. -- Lynn -----Original Message----- From: George Kirikos [SMTP:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Tuesday, April 16, 2002 1:18 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]; [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: Interview with customers - heres what I found out Hello, --- Jonathan <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > the transfer." One thing that might be nice is to make the hostnames for the "accept" and "reject" links be very clear. e.g. "To accept this transfer, click here: https://accept-transfers.opensrs.org/... To decline this transfer, do nothing, or click here: https://reject-transfers.opensrs.org/...." Or, alternatively, it could be in the URL, such as: https://transfers.opensrs.org/accept/..... https://transfers.opensrs.org/reject/..... This is a bit biased towards English, but OpenSRS is an English-based registrar.... Sincerely, George Kirikos http://www.kirikos.com/ __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
