There will probably be a lot of bogus errors, look for an authentic one (it helps if you can narrow the search by the time stamp.)
Look for a matching time stamp in access_log, the log entry will tell you the name of the file the system couldn't find.
Hopefully that will point you in the right direction...

It's 404 No page to display. It happens fairly quickly once submitted.

- Are you getting a 404 message (or your 404 substitute page?) Is the browser timing out or is it a fast response?

- That's an odd one (I've never experienced it)..
- Starts to get annoying, but I am sure that it is something simple. I'm just not smart enough to find it ;)
- Do you use a load balanced system that has a template missing?
- No load balancing. Not grown close to that size of traffic yet. Simply 1 dedicated server neatly tucked away ;)
- Are you using a database driven web server (i.e. ZOPE) or some such?
- No data-base driving. We have tried even the "Un-modified code" on the test server and the same results, 2 different machines.
- Very odd...
- Have you checked the alignment of the planets lately? There's an interesting formation to the west (from Toronto) during the twilight hours.
- Hard to check the alignment any-more. Usually have my friend Bud around at night and things seem to spin on their own ;) Bud is the only friend that understand why some of this stuff happens, but never tells ;)

- Hi All,
- We have been using OpnSRS's code since the beginning of time... Throughout our relationship with it, we have noticed in all versions occasionally someone will press a submit button and the screen displays the "page can not be fount" while in the cgi (Such as reg_system.cgi) but if you hit the back and re-fresh the page that was supposed to appear (That couldn't be found) appears ;) Has anyone tracking this down before? We have looked through with what *knowledge* we have of cgi (Not a whole heck of a lot ;) and we haven't came up with a cure. It seems to happen about one out of 10-15 times... Any input would be considered helpful ;)
- Thanks All,
