Actually, we are seeing this and similar errors right now. It seems like the
OpenSRS system is having sporadic difficulties retrieving US domain
information.

Symptoms include the one described below, that registrations based on an
existing profile generate an authentication error; you can also similar
problems by trying to retrieve a .US domain's information from the RWI.
Sometimes the viewdomain page will be blank, sometimes it will show only
certain information like Tech Contact information but blanks for Admin,
Organization etc., and sometimes the domain info will come up correctly...
