I changed the code not exactly to what you wrote bur pretty close.
I changed this part

to
} elsif ( $answer->{response_code} == 400 ) {
return $answer->{response_text};
} else {
return $answer->{response_text};
}
and guess what? I got this error instead!!
ERROR: Unable to login to server: OPS Decode Error: Envelope Protocol
Not Supported
Any one has any idea??
