Hi,

For what reason it is required to pass "currentexpirationyear" for
domain renewals (API: action=renew, object=domain).

We tested with a value of "3000" and everything was fine.

Fine until we tried to confirm this order from the list of pending
orders at the RWI - the error is "Order 480534 (spiri2.com) not
registered: Domain's current expiration year in registry doesn't match
the year provided by user".

When looking at the "Domain Renewal Order Edit Form" at the RWI there
is: Expiry Year: 3000 - and this can't be modified.

If this is an error shouldn't the server returns an error early, when
this order was sent to the server?

Or at least there should be a way to modify the number at the RWI.

Or the best - what is the reason to have that entry anyway, couldn't
it be calculated by the server at the time of the order?

I guess this is to prevent double orders - i.e. if there is a double
click by the user at the final step, the first order will pass and
change the expiration year so the second will be declined?
