You are correct.
That was the start of the game they played with me. But the NSI people I spoke to in the Phillipines (!) said they would forward my question on the their supervisors (sic) .... And of course nobody ever called me back ...
This, and my detailed notes of all calls, was very helpful when Afilias contacted NSI directly ...
