I'm currently,
1) Writing my own code to interface with OpenSRS.
2) Am performing all SW tests on the OpenSRS test server
since I've not yet performed the OpenSRS automation test
qualification.
The initial Server / Client dialog seems to go fine and I
follow it with the authentication message. My code then
sits and waits for a non-zero length challenge string but
I never receive one. After a couple seconds the server
closes the connection .... I've repeated this several
times now and the same thing happens each time.
Any ideas why I don't seem to be seeing any challenge
characters / string????
I'm following Open message examples that were provided to
me from people with working systems (yes, I am using *MY*
ID in the UN and PW fields), so it just does not seem
reasonable that I'm sending the wrong preambles to the
challenge handshake ...... I'm stumped and have no idea
how to even divide and conquor the problem since there is
no response after my authentication message is sent and
everything seem to be fine up to that point.
