Knowing that this is at least seriously being considered for future 
inclusion is all I would have hoped for at this point.  Thank you.

Maybe asking one of the registries to implement something similar in 
parallel might be worth considering?  Are any of the registry implementors 
less bogus than the Verisign jerks?

OT question: I recently got a new user with an existing .ws domain they
registered with register.com.  This is the first time I've run into a
domain we couldn't transfer.  Is anybody other than register.com dealing
with .ws?
