Yes, it started working but definitely not after few seconds. It took
over an hour.

My Java code is creating a socket to connect to opensrs server and I was
not closing it. So every time I run my test cases (which was very often)
a lot of new sockets were created, which were not closed for perhaps a
long period of time. May be my code crossed the limit of allowed
connection from a specific IP and started getting a canned response from
the server. 

Can this be a possible reason for the error? Please feel free to correct
me.
