Welcome to the community.

The first thing I'd like to know is what's going to happen with the
Sourceforge version of the OpenSRS client.

When I signed on with Tucows/OpenSRS over two years ago, the SourceForge
client was going to become the "official" Tucows client code "any time now."

Well it's been two years, and though Paul has done a great job keeping up
with most of the changes and API additions, many of us converted from the
Tucows client to the SourceForge version in order to get a jump on the
official conversion, only to be left behind.

The best answer I can give you right now is "Right now, I don't know. But soon, I will."

The good news is that anything that has to do with the Sourceforge version of the client is by definition very high up on my to-do list.

I'm still in the process of getting familiar with the OpenSRS clients, their current state and their respective histories, but once I've gotten a handle on them and talked to the appropriate people here, I'll be in a better position to give you a definitive answer.
