Another voice in the winderness... No need to fire anybody, they can implement a WEB Service in PERL, just do it soon !
We have large parts of the ASP.NET client written, I've been stuck learning TCPIP Sockets and cryptography, which would become COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY if the server spoke XML WEB SERVICE. I'm not advocating replacing anything in existence, just adding a new interface to the existing service. I'm pretty certain that all other interfaces would simply dry up and go away when the advantages of a standard XML web service were realized. Clients could be written in the language of your choice. SOAP over SSL would be the simplest and most standard, I can't believe how long this request has been left unanswered. TuCows, fire your Perl programmers and hire someone with clue. Hayk, if you take a hack at it in C#, post your source code here, I'm sure there'll be some people willing to help you out.
