I didn't get round to building a debug version. However after setting the
XRE_CONSOLE_LOG environment variable I got the following message on the
console:
WARNING: RegisterWaitForSingleObject failed: 87: file:

Further the problem seems to be fixed in the most recent version of XULRunner
(16.0.1).

I copied pref("dom.ipc.plugins.enabled", true); from the previously mentioned
bug. The others seemed to refer to mac.
