I'm sorry, I'm a bit new to this, so the intricacies of the javascript scopes and zones aren't yet very clear to me.
Does that mean that the globals of the content script will automatically be cleaned up if the tab is closed or is it just a technicality of the GC and do you still have to do cleanup? Eg. compared to being in the same zone of the window or not, what exactly happens differently? Should an explanation of this be added to the MDN page?
