good catch.. looking at https://mxr.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/ident?i=NS_SOCKETTRANSPORTSERVICE_CONTRACTID the only uses I see other than the one Ehsan unearthed are expected.. so maybe that's the sum of the short term work.
