Yep!

Well, it's not enough to just receive the commit message from the child. We 
then have to actually switch threads to the db thread and tell SQLite to commit 
the transaction. Once that completes I believe both processes could crash and 
the data would eventually be saved to disk (barring loss of power, etc).
