In Firefox 116 we plan to prototype FedCM in Nightly only. This is an
extension to the Credential Management API to enable privacy preserving
third-party authentication.

This feature is a proposed mechanism for removing the reliance on
third-party cookie exceptions for authentication use cases. As of now,
third party authentication relies upon the Storage Access API with
uninformative prompts or heuristics that grant storage access.
