As of Firefox 119, I intend to turn ARIA reflection (non-idref) on by default. This also enables default Accessibility Semantics for Custom Elements. It has been developed behind the accessibility.ARIAReflection.enabled preference. ARIA reflection (non-idref) shipped in Chrome 81 and Safari 12.1. Default Accessibility Semantics for Custom Elements shipped in Chrome 81 and Safari 16.4.
