Hi all, We recently released a Chrome extension for the Firefox Profiler <https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/firefox-profiler/ljmahpnflmbkgaipnfbpgjipcnahlghn>! This extension makes it easy to capture and import Chrome traces directly into the Firefox Profiler without the need to download and drag JSON files.
*Why might this be useful for me?* You may be wondering, "Why is this relevant to the firefox-dev and dev-platform mailing lists?". Even though this extension is designed for Chrome, we believe it offers significant value to Firefox developers as well. - It helps with comparing Firefox and Chrome performance within a single tool. - It helps diagnose cross-browser issues, like webcompat problems, where Firefox and Chrome behave differently. Check out the details in our blog post: Introducing the Chrome Extension for the Firefox Profiler. <https://blog.mozilla.org/performance/2024/12/12/introducing-the-chrome-extension-for-the-firefox-profiler/> We’d love your feedback! Reach out to us in the Firefox Profiler Matrix channel (#profiler:mozilla.org). Thanks!
