Hi Joseph,

Disabling protection persists only for a single page load. If you refresh the page, the mixed content will once again be blocked. We should probably have a way to re-enable protection that is more discoverable. I have filed a bug for this (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=902586), but the UI will take some thought.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention!

I disabled mixed context blocking on https://www.nytimes.com and the icon
changed as expected to the yellow warning sign. However, I do not see a way to
turn mixed context blocking back on for this domain. What am I missing?
