I believe that re-audits are generally a good thing, however I'm not sure if MoFo is in the position to review each and every CA at the yearly anniversary and comb through the CP/CPS once again just to find out if something changed and or verify the audit statements. Inclusion of a CA is a quite extensive process, such a yearly review would maybe add an unsustainable burden. Currently there are close to 120 CA roots in NSS and still counting...I guess that's the major reason why it's not a requirement so far.
