Jandem kindly made me aware of https://wiki.mozilla.org/JavaScript:Hackers. That does something at least similar to what I'd like to have.
The differences are: - it is the other way around. While I'm personally curious about what people do, having a list of areas is useful more often, I think. - it is, of course, outdated. The same is somewhat likely to happen to any list, but as I said, I'd want to make a serious effort to not let that happen.
