Well, I do understand the overall kinda goal: Having the JS GC manage all page-exposed memory so that there is no need for a cycle collector, explicit trace hooks, etc. Basically, try to make it as hard as possible to screw up the memory management...
Whether this goal is achievable, and if so how, is still slightly up in the air.
