Delete is a reserved word in Ecmascript. Besides renaming your method to something other than delete you could also execute it using the square bracket format

I don't have any real help for you, but I'm reminded that the same error is thrown (IIRC) on this: myobject.delete() I worked around it by renaming the function/method to remove().
