I'm currently working on a patch to upgrade the LDAP c-sdk that SeaMonkey and Thunderbird use to the latest version (6.0.2) as part of bug 359716:

As I only have a Linux dev environment, I need some help with Windows/Mac testing.

Would anyone be able to download the patch on that bug and at least compile it with latest trunk?

Once the patch is applied, you'll need to pull all again as it'll grab a new set of c-sdk files. Its probably best you then do either a clobber build, or remove just $(objdir)/directory and $(objdir)/dist to ensure it doesn't pick up the old versions (5.x) of the libraries.

If you can do a brief LDAP test to check it works, that'd be good, but its not necessary. I'm sure the c-sdk code itself will compile, its more the changes that I've done to configure to make sure the correct libraries are built that I want to check.

I only have an OS/2 environment, I built it there and had to make a couple tweaks... will attach diff to bug.
