Hi Rich,

Did you have a response to this question? If so I did not see it.

Thanks,

Bernie

Which application? What OS? WinXP? 2003? 2000?

I have msvcr80.dll in the following folders:
C:\WINDOWS\WinSxS\x86_Microsoft.VC80.CRT_1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b_8.0.50727.42_x
-ww_0de06acd
and
C:\WINDOWS\WinSxS\x86_Microsoft.VC80.CRT_1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b_8.0.50727.762_
x-ww_6b128700

This is on a Windows 2003 Server 32-bit system.

But when I try to run ldapsearch.exe from the cygwin command line, it
complains about missing msvcr80.dll - so it would appear that the WinSxS

directory is not automatically searched if you set your own PATH. It
looks like the latter one is to be used, the one that is version
8.0.50727.762.
