Please file a bug in bugzilla.mozilla.org against the LDAP C SDK.
So, Rich, you agree with me on that the malformed packet is caused by this
slip-up?
Yes. The mozldap c sdk is sending the creds as a zero length octet
string. But this should not cause any problems.
