The latest version available at http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/mozilla/releases is gecko-sdk-i586-pc-msvc-1.8b1.zip (I have downloaded an earlier version). But the document describing build pre-requisites for windows (http://developer.mozilla.org/en/docs/Windows_Build_Prerequisites) refers to Gecko 1.9 as the only version compatible with Visual Studio 2005.
