fwiw that particular feature wasn't killed outright by the privacy
pushback .. it was just unanticipated friction; I just moved to other
lower friction ideas that have better/quicker payback. I'll come back to
it, or steve will pick it up, or whatever when it rises to the top of
the value-for-the-effort pile again... there are mozilla resoruces (sid)
that can help work through the right nuances - I'm not worried and its
good that we pay attention.
my point with this post was that the new chrome feature goes
significantly past what we had even considered in the past.
