Hi all,

I wanted to let you know about the latest plans concerning the Networking
Dashboard and a couple of other little projects.

First of all, I've finally found the time to move about:networking from the
add-on to Firefox. (*Bug
865850*<https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=865850>)
It doesn't look that great yet, but I'm working on having it look like a
real about page and I hope to have it done by next week.

Also next week, Catalin Iordache and Robert Bindar will be starting their
internship at ROSEdu Summer of Code [1]. They will be working on extending
the networking dashboard with new features, maybe integrate Honza's
event-tracer [2], a better logger, and some networking telemetry stuff on
top.

With this in mind, they have filed *Bug 884359
*<https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=884359>and
*Bug 883976* <https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=883976> for
Level 1 Commit access, and it would be great if one of you guys could vouch
for them.

Robert and Catalin already know some things about Firefox development, as
they've attended some of the workshops we've held, but most of next week
will be dedicated to studying the code, and understanding what they're
supposed to do. If you have any advice for them, please share.

They will be available on IRC and on the mailing lists, so if you have any
ideas for any small projects that would be suited for them I'm sure they
will be happy to get involved.
